ALocated in the northwest section of Santa Fe, this home was designed as a southwest mountain “chalet” in the traditional pitched roof northern New Mexican style. It features hard trowel plaster walls, stained and stone floors and on-site built timber trusses that house the great room. Along with an in-floor hydronic heating system there are there are three fireplaces, one of them on the dining area counter. The expanded viewing and entertainment “portal” looks out onto the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, while the entry “portal” has far away views of the Jemez Mountains to the west. Upstairs is a viewing deck outside of the office and game room. Altogether, there are four bedrooms, including a master bedroom suite.
